Visit To The Organic Farm GRadona

In a particularly positive and warm atmosphere, filled with smiles, good energy, and a genuine spirit of collaboration, the visit to the organic farm GRadona took place. A special presence of the day was Dias, the four-legged “team member,” who, with his playful energy, moved among the participants, contributing in his own way to creating an open and friendly environment.

The day had a clear focus: connecting knowledge with practice. Volunteers actively participated in the sowing process, gaining hands-on experience and understanding in practice the importance of selecting certified organic seeds. Their involvement went beyond theory, evolving into meaningful engagement with the principles of sustainable agriculture.

This was followed by an open and constructive discussion, in which Mr. Kostakis also participated, enriching the dialogue with practical knowledge and experience from the field of seed production. The briefing was targeted and focused on key issues for the future of the agricultural sector:

  • The strategic role of organic seed in sustainable agriculture, with particular reference to the European LiveSeeding program

  •  the importance of preserving and utilizing traditional varieties as a key tool for strengthening the resilience of farming systems

  •  The prospects for shaping a more self-sufficient, flexible, and adaptive agricultural model capable of responding to modern challenges

This initiative highlighted in practice the importance of participation and knowledge exchange, strengthening the connection between people and primary production, as well as the values that accompany it.

Ultimately, the agriculture of tomorrow is not an abstract concept or a theoretical approach it is the result of collective effort, collaboration, and daily action, built step by step, starting today.
